going back along time ago when the road in front of mandira was a dirt road we woke one morning to check the view from hotel and saw surrounded by hundreds curious balinese 2 massive long camper vans that completely blocked the view to the beach.Apparently they were french tourists travelling the world how they got those big big vans to bali and manouvered the roads amazed me.They were off to ubud the next day hope they didnt encounter any cermonies or trucks wanting some of the road too.Havent seen one in bali since oh please do we really want those on the streets in bali???and parking out views????
