I'm a non swimmer! :D
My husband was a non-surfer but he learned to surf in Bali by taking a few classes. He also went on his first deep-sea dive in Bali
Best experiences have been temple festivals, learning something about the Balinese culture from Balinese people, seeing fabulous dances and rice terraces.
Over the years i've experienced the following. Probably heaps of other things i can't think of right now. All were great, and only one i would never do again - will list it last:
tandem harley ride to Uluwatu and Jimbaran Bay
white-water rafting
fully submersible submarine
horseriding on beach and through village (fine for inexperienced riders)
three island tour
Goa Gajah
Kerta Gosa - fabulous
lontar museum and library, Gedong Kirtya
Water Palace, Tirtaganga - my favourite place in Bali
sunset dinner cruise
Besakih temple
Tanah Lot Temple
dolphin watch from Lovina - mixed feelings about this trip
ten pin bowling - would take too long to explain why i loved doing this in Bali
waterbomb park
boat trip to Lembongan Island

And the one i wouldn't do again because it scared me, but my husband would definitely do it again: tandam paragliding over Bukit Peninsula.
Each trip we've done completely different things, because there is so much to experience in Bali.
