Unless things have changed since my last visit 5 years ago... While lining up you don't have the benefit of effective aircon. Most airports around the world have that - so the wait isn't quite such a shock to the system- after getting off a long airconditioned flight. The humidity and being surrounded by hundreds of people can be overwhelming (And for that reason I will be using VIP VOA for the first time when I arrive in about 10 days - so shoot me!!!!) Yes - we know we have to adapt to that same humidity whilst there - and the humidity is part of the reason why the country is so beautiful (tropical climate).
