I am so sorry to put a dampner on this idea but someone did that a few years ago in our area and it put so much joy in the faces for the tourist to see and then so much rubbish on the ground for weeks to come. If kids are not old enough to know to throw them in a rubbish bin or in the poorer areas there are no rubbish bins then this gives you and the child short term joy and in the long term is detrimental to the environment.

I love the idea but it has long term environmental consequences. 60 little plastic bottles and popped balloons all on the ground. It would be better to get say 20 little bottles for the same price that would be re-used by the family, maybe you can find some of the larger sturdier ones so the family re-use the container (which they will if it is one of the bigger ones). The little ones you talk about end up all over the ground.
