We used Balistonesn to freight the mirrors back. We have used them many many times to bring back things for ou house. You pay by the cubic metre not on weight. The generel rule of thumb is that whatever the cost of the item ,double it and that is the most it should cost you in freight.I think from memory though, the large mirror only cost about $100AUD to bring back because it was so flat.
When you order the mirror only pay a deposit to miss mirror,get the receipt,take it to Felicia at balistones,pay her the outstanding amount and she will arrange to have the mirror packaged and sent to australia.You then pay for the freight on arrival and duty if applicable and gst. Remember though, that the duty etc is only on the cost of what you paid for the items so it is very small.
