Hi there, we were there in jan/feb this year (9 of us) and we travelled around alot in large colorful buses (referred to as party buses). These buses are seen usually early evening and later in the night mainly around the legian/kuta area. It's truely amazing the streets/lanes that these buses fit through. Try ringing one of the drivers, can't remember his name but understands english very well and very obliging. His number 628123681379. They don't have glass windows but have plastic shutters when raining and these work well even in tropical torrential rains. Hope this helps.
