You can assist them in filling out the form.
You then state that you assisted them on the form for no fee.

He will still have to sign it.
Some people I know have filled out the form & then the visitor has copied it onto another form.
Others have filled out the form for the visitor.
He will have to organise his other documents himself eg letter of employment, bank statements etc etc..
Other paperwork is yours anyway - letter of invitation, bank statements, itinerary....
It's not really that daunting...just make sure he shows strong evidence to return
Immigration wants the person to leave on time & not work whilst here.
Provide letter of employment & leave granted & time of return to work by employer.
State family responsibilities, banjar etc that they must return home to.
