Check in and go for a walk around park,its free for guests!
Next morning after breakfast walk around the park when all the day trippers have not arrived and do your free safari ride at least 2 hours before check out giving you a chance for a last swim etc!(make sure you are on the very back seat of the tram/bus as this gives the best view and photo opportunities)
We arrived around 11 am and they checked us straight in!
We found that because we were wondering the park quite early before the day trippers were there that they let us do the animal photos etc for free when we showed them our room card!
Wotif.com gave us the best deal at the Mara lodge,its under Denpasar hotels for some reason?
Night safari is a must and also booking your table for breakfast and dinner when you "check in" so you get one of the tables at the window and next to the lions.
The Tandala suites are great and you can see all the animals from your balcony!
