Hi,
there were 2 areas to watch from.
One was on the main road leading into Sanur near Mcdonalds. There were a lot of people here and it was chaos, the police had no control, it was quite funny actually.
The other was at the southern end near the roundabout just past the Hyatt. This was more controlled, and it was great to watch the kids enjoying themselves so much!
I believe Nyepi 2011 is April 4
