I have read a few messages in the archives that suggest light weight winter clothing is very much appreciated in the mountains. I am taking numerous items to the Birthing Centre in Ubud for the babies and siblings (Thanks mostly to the very generous donations of new and used items from workmates).
Between my sister and myself- having cleaned out our wardrobes -we have just come up with numerous light weight winter items for the mums. (Long sleeved items that we would perhaps wear in Brisbane in the middle of the day on a sunny winters day). Just doesn't seem right to me because I have been in Ubud in winter and can't remember wanting anything heavier than a TShirt.
Could you please confirm that these would be appreciated - as I don't want to be inflicting unwanted items on them.
