If I were to go to my nearest Travelex, it would be a special trip to somewhere I'd otherwise never go and cost me around $5-10 in petrol plus another $3 in parking fees.
So that US$25 would be AUD$28 + 5 + 3 = $36. I can't see anything sensible about that.
I think I'll stick to using my own currency to pay, which has never held up the line in 6 trips that I've done it because they have the change in rupiah in little pre-fab piles ready to hand back to you.
