i've been watching an ogoh-ogoh procession from a previous year on youtube and have noticed some other figures from what i am guessing is the ramayana. is this right, or are they also other ogoh-ogoh effigies. i thought i recognised one of the ramayana heroes on their horse and another on garuda. is this typical of the parades and what is their purpose? also, are only gambelan instruments used to scare away the evil spirits or are other things used to make a noise?
