I went to a great cheaper spa around the corner from Bodyworks called Cool Spa. The massages, pedicures, facial etc were fantastic and SOOOOOOO much cheaper than the fancier places that charge three times the price for the same thing! Here is the link for you http://www.balispa.net/cool_spa/info.php

There is a great cafe called Cafe Moka on Jalan Legian Seminyak near jalan Kunti - http://www.indo.com/restaurants/cafemoka/ that does nice cheap breakfasts and take away food too if you wanted a quiche or bread rolls etc.

Some other great places to eat that are smaller and cheaper:
• Wayan and friends - Jalan Padma Legian This restaurant is open form 7am-11pm and serves western food. (Fantastic chicken schnitzels so fresh you have no idea - I dream about these when I am not there!
• Rum Jungle (Kusnadi Hotel) Jalan Werkudara off Jalan Padma Utara is lovely for a mix of Indo and Western food.
• The Bali Swiss restuarant is also great -http://bali-swiss.com/en_swiss_restaurant.htm
• Try TJ's Mexican for some good cheap margarita's and huge servings of western mexcian!

As for a tattooist - I would highly recommend you take your own design with you as you would hate to be a victim of lost in translation when it came to the inking. My cousin lives in Seminyak and I have emailed him about this request so I'll post back his suggestions if he has any.

Have a great trip!
