Stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa in Sept 08, didn't like them at all.
Very slippery flooring throughout the villa including the bathroom that had a plunge pool size bath (slight exageration) you couldn't fill up. Nothing to prevent mosquitos from coming in the bathroom no flywire over the window.
Discovered we didn't like the open plan kitchen dining after cats came in at night twice and spread all the leftover from dinner spread all over the villa. (no doors on any of the cupboards supplied for food) Room service food was very very ordinary although I have since heard they have changed the restaurant manager.
No privacy, staff would enter the villa gardens without ringing the bell at the door.
On the positive side, it did have a nice size private pool and some of the villas in the new part looked very nice. There was a little mini bus that took you down the lane to Jl Seminyak opposite the Bintang supermarket.
