It can be 20mins up to 2.5hrs depends on the day, time, other flights, delays, early arrivals etc
I wouldn't bother with dearer seats.
You can look at the website 'flightstats' for info on flights arriving at your time but anything can change with delays, early arrivals.
there is also a service called VOA VIP (visa on arrival very important person) you can book this service through many different operators for a fee. I suggest you check the archives up the top of the main page. Some people will get very stressed out if you asked about it on here without researching the archives first.
