Friend of mine flew Jetstar Melbourne > Darwin > Denpasar, but due to brainfade, only checked the surfboard size restriction for the Bali hop.
Board was OK for DRW > DPS, but too big for the MEL > DRW, so he was forced to leave his board at the airport, where they said it either had to picked up by someone or he would be up for storage charges.
