You are talking about what to do SHOULD you get sick.
Red cordial is a different thing altogether to the recommendations about raspberry intake.
If someone wants to use the properties of raspberry that has been documented as being beneficial, they need to use real raspberry (not cordial flavourings) to get these benefits.
This could be found in real fruit, jams or high concentrate toppings or drinks.
Some people swear by the results, and others discount it as OWTs.
There is plenty of written evidence to support the concept, so unless all the researchers were "old wives" it may just have something in it :0)
