We walked past it early December. Looked good, anything down that end of Tuban is quiet and nice. They have tried to go more funky with the lounges outside at the beach cafe, and music etc. Boardwalk is great from Tuban all the way to Kuta on beachfront without having to walk on road. Plenty of shops, restaurants close by. Never stayed there but checked it all out when it was Bali Hai.
Not in my price range for next trip, but staying close to it. I think you will enjoy it.
