Depends on where you are staying, but Mataharis or Carrefour will sell them. Or you can buy a small kettle here at home, and also take a power adapter. There is a very small travel kettle put out by Korjo, and available in camping/outdoor outlets,(and Korjo also do an immersion heater, its cheaper). Other than those, Kmart etc usually have reasonably small kettles We do take a jug, and to save space we stack our cups, or coffee, sugar etc inside the jug on way over. As you say, essential for many of us first thing.
