Gilli means island so there is no Gilli Island in Bali. There is a spot that is well visited called the Gilli Islands on the north coast of Lombok consisting of Gilli Trawangan, Gilli Meno and Gilli Air, this is probably what you mean. These islands are awesome and well worth the travel. You can catch a speed boat over from Benoa Harbour in the south of Bali. I would probably make it worth while and stay a night. My favourite is Gilli Trawangan and there plenty of places to stay, eat and drink - we are actually going again in May and cant wait.
