You say "The game was tied after 50 overs" so I must have gone to sleep and missed the 30 overs bowled after the appropriate 20 overs per innings were bowled in this 20/20 match.
Of course a "bowl off" is a fitting way to decide the winner of a game best suited to be played by drunks at a rugby team's annual picnic.
To compare this "hit and giggle" affair with a test match result is almost blasphemous and you deserve to be severely chastised for even suggesting this.
And by the way I am an Australian, not one of those "poor little kiwis" of which you speak.
