to stay there :) The place has a dispute going on between the 3 owners and is in court for several years. There is a big warning sign posted at the front of the hotel. I have stayed there twice, the last being in October.
The hotel is dilapidated and no one will spend money on it. Water leaks in most rooms and staff are always mopping one or two rooms out every day.
The staff are helpful but they can't do very much. The concrete steps are dangerous as they have a lip. If you turn to avoid a drunk Japanese woman (like I did) you will lose a lot of skin on the rough concrete if you trip. The wooden stairs going to the upper level have a lot of 'bounce' in them.
And, the rooms smell and the A/C is so weak that you will have it on full blast 24/7.
These are only some of the faults: switches not working, doors not shutting, towels not provided, rooms not clean etc.
And, it is not very cheap at $45/night or $70 if you just rock up.
Never again......
Do yourself a favour and go to the Lumbung Sari around the corner if you are looking for cheap accommodation :) 220,000/night.
