we have travelled to lembongan 16times and you do not need to book anywhere in April, its quiet time as the surf is not huge.
There are so many places to stay along Jungabatu bay, which is where the surfbreaks are. If they are catching the Perama they will get dropped off in the middle of the beach, staight ahead is the mandala, not bad but there are better places up and down the beach. Ketut's bungalows is good they have put in a pool, Main Ski is OK with a pool as well, these 2 places would be mid-range price, around 200,000rp to 300,000rp a room per night. Then you have a real cheapie Agungs, followed by Agus's shipwreck bar and bungalows, budget prices but nice rooms, around 100,000rp for fan twin or double, then there is Linda's, not sure how much they are charging and the last one is Puri Nusa, this is where we stay and a fan room is 100,000rp and air con with hot water around 250,000rp.
The best thing is to leave your bags at a restaurant and then just walk up the beach and ask to see the rooms and then make a decision.
There is a local afternoon boat but do not have contact with me at the mpment, let me know if you would like the numbers etc and will repost tomorrow.
