the story we got and i confirmed through companies still importing shingles to perth is that the laws had changed regarding the ironbark timber shingles as the trees are now protected. They can still be imported as long as the company has the required licence to do so.Therefor yes it can still be done it just depends on the company you use.I also used Brett Ryder to ship our stuff back and he will be a good source of info for you.
