Got back today from 3 weeks in Bali, 1 in Legian (Bali Village) and 2 in Sanur (Sanur Beach Villas). All I can say is great.
But
My wife after 2 days in pool reckoned her bathers were falling apart. I said know from the forum there is a great shop in Legian on Garlic Lane called Climax where you will be able to get what you want.
Knew from forum that garlic Lane runs from Melasti to Padma so got a taxi there.
Asked about (1) is this Garlic lane (Was Jelan Sahadewa). All locals denied the GL name , even in a cafe called "Garlic Lane Cafe". (2) Where is Climax shop? All said they knew nothing.
Walked up and down lane but no Climax!
In the end gave up.
2 days later got a taxi to Mataharis and on the way saw in a shopping centre an advert for Climax but not able to check out.
Question... (1) has Climax moved? (2) If so what is the shopping centre so we can visit next year?
