know how you get on. The pain was likened to a flick from an elastic band, however it was much worse than that... but a bit like childbirth in that you forget soon after, until the next time... lol
If I have it done again I will be getting someone to come with me so they can drive home so I can shade my face from the sun.... because the IPL is such an intense light it is a bit like a burn to the skin and when you get outside in the sun, it really burns (my experience, haven't heard anyone else's) and I had all my appointments after 5pm. I think it is an excellent idea to have it done by a skin specialist. I wonder if you can get a rebate from a private fund as well as Medicare. Might be worth looking into I think.
