it's still on alert, and it's slippery at the moment, best to wait till the dry season, if you do want to climb there are so many company's that offer it, including the hotels around the Lake in the village of Kedisan and Toya Bunkah and even Songan further around the Lake, the village at the top is called Penleokan, only one hotel there called Lakeview.
If you drive yourself and arrange your own transport, the guides at the Guide Association charge 200,000rp per person. Watch out for the touts chasing you on motorbikes to get you to pay up to $100 to climb.
Including accommodation around the Lake and transport from the South there and back, don't pay more than $60 per person for a tour.
