Not that this would be an everyday occurrence but last Oct when we flew home to Melb from DPS, because of fog we had to divert to Sydney and disembark.
In order to get back on the plane we had to go through the gels/aerosol check point and anyone who had duty free had it taken because it was over 100mls.
Buy it before you go and pick it up on your way back into Perth.
