As "GaryD" originally advised posting wooden items is not a good idea, for the reasons he gave.
I would like to add that I have always avoided posting any goods (wooden or otherwise)that would normally require inspection by quarantine, again for the reasons given by "GaryD".
It is also essential that the value of the goods in each consignment is less than AU$1000.00 to avoid payment of duty and GST.
