We were staying at an orphange last year (August), we both bought the sewing room an industrial sewing machine with the table and all the gear to go with it.It worked out just under $250 AUS and that included delivery.There are a number of sewing machine shops in the old part of Denpasar, the owners were climbing over themselves to do a deal.

By the time you bothered to cart it over, it may be cheaper and easier to get it there.

T also agree with trayden, maybe speak to her first, I have learnt the lesson over the years what I think our friends/orphanges need over the years, quite often end up completley diffeerent :)

It sounds like you have a nice friendship with this woman, so speaking to her should be easy.
