booking hotel vers b & b

Has anyone stayed at a B & B in Bali and how did you find it compared to larger hotel, going to Bali in September and looking at different options?

Any ideas welcomed, just need good clean aircon room for two.

Stayed at Champlung Mas hotel in the past but looks like price too high and Dian would like to try something new. Also been to Garden View cottages.
