Just got back from 3 weeks in Bali and, although we didnt stay at the Sofitel (stayed at the All Seasons, BGH & Novotel Nusa Dua)we headed down there for dinner one night and to check it out for future holidays. We were really disappointed at the lack of customer service, friendliness and the general atmosphere of the hotel.
We too stay at Sofitel's within Australia and the Sofitel Bali just does not compare. Soon the Pullman Legian will open up and i think that they will end up getting the 'upper end market' Accor clientelle.
This trip we were particularly impressed with the Novotel Nusa Dua and, using our Accor membership, got a really good deal for our 2 bedroom apartment and the dining discount was a huge saving.
