I have flown Jetstar several times to and from Bali.
Jetstar has a higher standard of cabin service than Air Asia. The food is better on Jetstar. As well, Jetstar has the screens which drop down from the ceiling, whereas Air Asia has no entertainment at all on the flight from Perth.
Jetstar has flight attendants whose first language is English. There is sometimes confusion in Air Asia flights when the cabin staff try to speak English.
Jetstar sells alcohol on their flights, but the Air Asia flights from Perth to Bali are dry.
