If what you say is true Bali will be full of empty hotels this year but that's not the case.

Another thing to remember is that Bali hotels are low rise so require a large amount of expensive dirt per customer.
I note the cheapest last minute rate at the high rise Hilton Sydney is $349.00.
Just imagine how much a room would be there if they were restricted to a height of a gum tree.
