I've been to Bali 8 times in 8 yrs and accomodation prices have almost doubled across the board. But you know what, for most people including me, it won't stop us going there. If a Hotel is now out of our price range, we'll stay somewhere else, or wait for a special. There's always somewhere cheaper. The trouble with Holidaying in australia, even if you get a good price, is no matter where abouts you stay in australia, you're still in ****** australia. Have you ever wondered why you like Bali so much? Have a real hard think about it. Accomodation prices are normally last on the list. Number one for me at least is the freedom. Freedom you can't enjoy in Australia, at least anymore. Having a Beer on the Beach without being hassled by Pigs. Being able to talk to almost any old stranger at anytime as if you were old friends. Being able to make someones day with a smile and maybe even some loose change. Bali is not just some place to go these holidays. You can't think of it as a destination. It's not about that, It's about other things, about appreciation, about the people, about your children, About Komang and Made, and maybe even Wayan. It's about the dream, It's about living the life, It's about so much more, It's this, and it's that, and so on, and so forth... It's not about the price of accomodation. It's not. Trust me, It's ***** not.
