I stayed there last Oct and really enjoyed a small hotel environment right in the heart of everything. It was a solo trip therefore the position was great. I stayed in a standard room which was a little bungalow right opposite the pool from memory I think it was either #11 or #9. I was first put in one facing the car park (not nice) but they changed me to the one opposite the pool which while being a budget room was very clean and everything worked well. It had a little private courtyard at the back and the front faced the small pool area. The pool is small but very relaxing as they appear to attract only Indonesian guests who don't use the pool so I never had trouble getting a lounge. Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast is small but quite ok. There are two great little spas close by the one across the road is called the Smart Spa - checkout their pedicures they do them in subdued light and wear little (miners lamps) around their heads to see but still manage to do a good job. The hotel is just a hop skip and a jump from the beach and Matahrai. Also a good little shop next door for cold drinks milk etc.If your looking for good cheap accomondation in a great location you can't go wrong.
