Good to now there are other flights - looking at the internet right now (for 3 months time) there dont seem to be many scheduled but that must change nearer the time. And yeah, hate to waste a beach day travelling - or as the other suggestion - get out of the airport and go for a drive and get the 7pm Garuda - which would be fine but there is a 90 minute drive after getting to Lombok. Long day but worth it I guess to then stay put for a few days. Maybe we could just stock up on goodies (thinking, Champagne, bintang, nibblies etc) then back to the airport. That would work but would need to drop hubby off to the beach while I go shopping....
