while it's true that not everyone has had an enjoyable meal at Indus, I don't think it's fair to condemn the place outright without reference to others' experiences. We ate there twice last year and all 4 of us were more than happy with the excellent range and quality of the food. The seafood paella was especially delicious and the deserts are to die for.
It is a huge restaurant compared to many that you will find in Bali and so the service is not as snappy as you might get at a restaurant with only a dozen or so tables. Sit back instead and soak up the wonderful views and enjoy the peace away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets.
