For a really nice "sit amongst the atmosphere of a beautiful restaraunt ", I would go to Dirty Duck.
For the local cafe, we have never been been past Cafe Wayan.
Our favourite is the Suckling pig place opposite the palace where you sit on the floor, mmmmmmmm :)
