Staying at the Mandira - can anyone help

We are staying at the Mandira in March. Haven't stayed in this area before. Can anyone recommend a money changer, laundry, mini-mart, restaurants and best massage for around the Mandira? Stayed at BGH in October so don't know the area around Mandira at all. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
