i was there november 2008.. ,,, got of the boat walked along the beach.... checkin out accomadation... think i payed bout 150.000 for a bungalow...... no fresh water ... bathing in salt water.... snorkeling of the beach is amazing.... shallow and still... heeps to see... lots of turtles... cant wait to go back... caught the 4am ferry from padang bai... wonderful crossing . smooth.. amazing sun rise, and lots of dolphins.... caugh a bemo to bangsal, then a canoe to gilli air... in june i will buy a ticket ubud to gilli air... think its abut 350.000.... ,,, least hassle.... please go and enjoy ,,, i cannnot wait to take my son there....
