How rude some people are. Ignore the cranky ones. The VIP on departure is OK BUT you still have to queue for the x-ray, they can't help you there. They did take us straight to the check in counter where you do have to queue there. They then take you to customs where you sit down while it is all done. The departure tax is then done for you, but I have never had to wait for this anyway. If you can arrange a wheelchair it might not be worth paying the extra. Our VIP booking did include both arrival and departure.
