If you take excess to get a cheaper price just remember that you have to pay that excess on each and every claim, multiple claims can run out quite a bit dearer than you would have anticipated.

I always pay extra to get no excess.

My wife and I are both over 60, I have pre existing conditions that are not excluded from my policy, 20 days, nil excess (cost an extra $17) total cost for the two of us was $187.

I use "Travel Insurance Managers".
