You seem to assume that the OP was asking for strictly traditional Balinese food, and not that generally eaten in Bali and elsewhere in Indonesia.

Many things assumed to be "Balinese" are in fact Indonesian (and as such also Balinese)
There is plenty of offerings in this line of postings that are Balinese and Indonesian, and in fact from other parts of Asia, but no one wants to criticise them (except the poor poster who mentioned rendang.....shame on you).
It all seems awfully picky to me (again) but it seems that the BTF (Born To Flame) forum has become very much like that regretfully.
If my assumption was incorrect, I appologise profusely to the original poster for saying that I like Nasi Goreng.
