I haven't personall stayed at Bali Garden Hotel but my grandaughter did in oct'09 and loved it. Said the rooms were a bit tired but the resort itself was great. We always stay at the Dynasty but in May they are full so we are staying at Ramada Bintang. With Jimbaran Bay we go to the central area and most restaurants are similar. Dena's is one name in that group of restaurants that springs to mind but we actually go to one "about" third or fourth along. There are 3 areas of restaurants on the beach front and this area appears to have good seafood without extreme prices. With other areas we were told one is the higher class and prices to go with it and the other end is really not so great. The in between area is supposed to be the best. Anyway that's what we have been told and where we go and love it every time.Hope this helps.
