Was over a couple of weeks ago and hired a Vario with 616km on it ( I put about 250 on it in 4 days ).

In comparison the hire helmets were old, abused, nit filled :-)

. The second helmet didn't even do up properly, the other if you closed the mask, it was so scratched you couldn't see it and when you lifted it up it acted as a wind scoop :-(

Ended up purchasing a couple of new helmets. Purchased in some little shop in some little town where the guys didn't even speak English for 125000rp each. Wasn't a bad price though I did see them cheaper in Hardys on the way through a bit later.

For around $15AU each, made any trips for myself or the family much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Left them with Pin, our Camp Splash mate @ Paradise Plaza Suites.

Will worth considering.

Oh and hired in Sanur and the guy didn't even look at either my passport or my International Drivers License :-)
