My sister and brother in law stayed there in May 2009 when they also couldn't get in at the bali garden. The rooms were very nice, not all that huge, but had a good balcony and overlooked the gardens. It's a very very nice hotel.
It has a huge pool and a great beach out the front. It also has bales you can lounge around in at sunset.
You won't regret staying there. Only thing is the hotel is exy to eat in. But there's plenty near by to eat in.
If you go out the gates, turn to the right and just past the kodak money changer, there's a restaurant called Mudi's. It's very very cheap and bloody beautiful. Make sure you have a meal there at some stage.
you will love it there.
