I asked the same question re an appropriate tip for the staff of a villa where we'll be staying.
You'll need to do the currency conversion from USD to local.
Keeping in mind it won't have the same number of staff as a hotel, this is what I was told:
" You are already paying for top-class service so tipping is not expected at all and should only be given if the service is exceptional. If this is the case a general guideline might be $1 to $2 per guest per day, which is then shared between the entire staff"

If the food and service are good I add on 10% in restaurants.

Like Celuk Girl, I round up taxi fares.
