we were only there for 4 days and the bike tour was the highlight. Other than that it was us just wandering around buying too many dresses and bags!
We found Jl 66 very quiet and were shocked how many shops closed by 5pm and not open on Sundays. Ketut was great as I am totally over the whole bargaining process. ie we were buying bags for somewhere between 120,000 to 160,000 and they would start at a "bargain" price of 750,000 and get really, really offended when we did not want to proceed with the bairgaining process!
I found Biarritz and it seems to me that some things which were no longer at Geneva (small mosaic mirros and kids mobiles) are now there. hmmm
I also feel that the rnge of sandals is nowhere near as great as what it was a few yrs ago when the shoe warehouse was open in jl padma Utara.
anyway, it was all good and the KP was such a beautifully cared for hotel - we could not get over how lovely the grounds were and thought our pool view rooms were the best in teh house - S and SG blocks
