We stayed in a cottage suite last year with a 14 & 8yo, there was more than enough room for them both and the beds were a normal width, we didn't mention the ages of the kids when booking directly with MBR via email and they never asked, I think we paid approx. $120pn inc. breakfast for the 4 of us over the April school holiday period.
